Pastor David Hall officiat- ed. Parents of the couple are Judy Williamson of Ortonville and Wallace and I,ois Larson of Bellingham. Maid of ttonor was Heather Nelson, sister of the bride. BJ idesmaids included Joleen Vanttoorn, sister of the groom, Amanda Swezey, friend of the bride, and Angle Roling, sister of the bride. Flower girl was Emily Dornbusch, cousin of the groom. Personal atten- dants were Kayla Althoff and Traci Barnhardt, friends of the bride. The Best Man was Darrin Larson, brother of the groom. The music was provid- ed by Henry's Sights and Sounds. After a honeymoon to the Black Hills the couple resides in Alexandria. Are You Hooked Ortonville K of C sponsors youth free throw event All boys and girls age l0 to 14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2002 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The local competition will be held on Sunday, Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. at the Ortonville High School Gym. Registration held at 12:30 pm. The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually with winners progressing through local, district, and state com- petitions. International champions are announced by the K of C internation- al headquarters based on scores from the state-level competitions. All boys and girls 10 to 14 years old are eligi- ble to participate and will compete in respechve age divisions. Last year more than 220,000 sharp-shooters participated in 3,625 local competi- tions. All contestants on the local level are recognized for their participation in the event. Participants are required to have written parental consent. Entry forms can be picked up at the Ortonville Elementary Office. The Knights of Columbus is an international Catholic family fraternal service organization with more than 1.6 million members in nearly 12,000 local councils. Last year, Knights donated 55 million volunteer hours and $109 million to charitable and benevolent causes, sponsoring pro- jects to benefit their Church, councils, communities, families and youth.
