We strive to provide caring, compassionate and professional service to every family we are entrusted to serve. We are committed to creating services that are as meaningful and personal to our families as the life that they are celebrating. Amanda Moen, Director Ileta Herberg joined the staff at Larson Funeral Home as a licensed funeral director in 2007. Ileta, nee Sigler, recently moved back to her hometown of Clinton. She and her late husband Howard Herberg farmed for many years south of Beardsley and raised three sons. Ileta is a graduate of Clinton High School and Sisseton Wahpeton Community College and, in 1997, she received her bachelor of science degree/from Worsham Mortuary College in Wheeling, Ili. Ileta has served as a funeral director in Fargo, No. Dak Sauk Rapids and for eight years in Glenwood. She is a member of Holden Lutheran Church in rural Beardsley, Kiwanis and the Big Stone County Emergency Management Task Force. She enjoys spending time with her 10 grandchildren, quilting and crocheting. As a Licensed Funeral Director, Amanda joined the staff at Larson Funeral Home in 2008, after practicing in the Twin Cities for some time. She grew up in Glenwood and graduated from Minnewaska Area High School. Amanda attended and graduated from the University of Minnesota - School of Mortuary Science. Amanda attends First English Lutheran Church in Ortonville and enjoys reading, taking walks amd spending time with family and friends. She looks foward to becoming active in the community.
