Teachers don't always know what is going on, They say they do but they haven't the slightest clue. Students act like nothing is wrong, Teachers, there is something wrong, now you know, don't you. All you people can't you see, You are causing me a lot of pain. Things I hear effect me, Although I try hard, I am just the same. I try hard not to do that, Right now I am digging deep down. I don't want to be known as a brat, I just hate being known as the "geek." Why won't you give me a chance, I like school and sports. All you do is judge me by a glance, I have friends and we are not dorks. You look at me by what I wear, You think about brands and what they cost. You look at me by the way I cut my hair, Oh well, not my loss. You care only what your friends think, Look at the people I hang out with. You don't care about us or our feelings, Don't look at me like I am telling you a myth. Sure I like Tae Kwon Do, You are interested in something to, that I know. How easy it is to fall into "puppy love," It's not real, yet, anyway. You feel superior, so up above, It's not gonna happen yet but someday. We are in some of the same classes, But what does that mean. Right now the clock is ticking it's fastest, Maybe we're not as close as we seem. Now you know this is how I feel, Don't look at how I dress, or the color of my skin. Early childhood screening set for pre-schoolers Ortonville Public School will hold the annual Early Childhood Screening Clinic (previously known as Preschool Screening) on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 27, and Friday morn- ing, Feb. 28, 2003. The location is in the Educational section of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ortonville. Children who are between the ages of 3 1/2 and 5 years are eligible for screening. Appointment letters will be sent to parents whose children's names are on the Ortonville Census. If you haven't received a letter, please contact the Ortonville Public School at 839-6181, and ask for Ext. II1. Also, anyone having any concerns about the health/development of chil- dren younger than 3 1/2 is encouraged to contact us and set up an interview and/or partial screening.
