Portions from Psalm The Bible is a book of memories...memories of of the stories are fascinating and filled with adventure, account of the deliverance of the children of Israel, Exodus. The Psalms remind us again and again of deeds and the four Gospels tell us of the life and Lord as remembered by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Memory is a priceless gift. Loss of memory is a rience. Forgetting the name of an acquaintance or information upsets most people. Aging does slow us do n we wonder out loud if we are "slowing down a bit." Summer is a great time for storing up memories. the out-of-doors and visits by family and friends through the long and cold Minnesota winter. We memories of visits to far-off places. Reflect on the following by Betty Westrom Skold from book "The Kids Are Gone Lord, But l'm Still Here." How I loved those parts in my childhood books where frontier family got ready for winter. I felt safe with them as they preserved crocks of fruits and vegetables, hung ham in the smokehouse, buried potatoes in the cellar. Puttin' up" fruits and vegetables wasn't just survival insurance, it was one way of hanging on to during the long months of winter. A person could in summer's realty if you could look at bright fruits and taste their sweetness. MEMORY is like that too. It is a way of "puttin' up" lif experiences. The Psalms remind us again and again of deeds and the four Gospels tell us of the life and Lord as remembered by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Memory is a priceless gift. Loss of memory is a rience. Forgetting the name of an acquaintance or information upsets most people. Aging does slow us do n we wonder out loud if we are "slowing down a bit." Summer is a great time for storing up memories. the out-of-doors and visits by family and friends through the long and cold Minnesota winter. We memories of visits to far-off places.
