L MW Charlie Stattelman The son of Randy and Becky Stattelman, he has one sister, Gina, and two brothers, Joseph and Willis. This is Charlie's sixth year as a varsity golfer. He was a member of the CGB golf team in seventh and eighth, grade and the last four years at OHS. Charlie's best round of golf was a 73 on the Or- tonville Golf Course and a 76 in Sub-Sections in Benson his sophomore year. He feels the strongest of his game is putting and that he needs to be consistent with the mid-irons and wedges. One of Charlie's favorite memories as a member the OHS golf team was when they went to the Geneva Golf Course in Alexandria his sophomore with just three golfers and won the tournament. Charlie placed 20th in this year's state tourna- ment with a round of 81, On the first nine holes he a 45, but came back to shoot a 36 on the final nine holes. What made the 36 interesting was he had bogey and double-bogey to go with his three Stattelman will be attending Concordia-Moor- this fall, but is undecided on a major. Parl Bryn Stock The son of Randy Stock and Valerie Swint, he has one brother Keegan and one sister Caitlin. This is Bryn's fourth year as a varsity golfer and his second state tournament appearance. Bryn tied for 13th place in this year's state tournament shooting a 79. Bryn's best round of golf was a 70 on the Ortonville Golf Course and a 76 at the Section Tournament this year in Benson. One of his favorite courses is Tipsi- "Ju nah at Elbow Lake. "The course is wide open," said Stock. st swing away and have fun." One of Bryn's favorite memories while a member of the OHS golf team was upsetting Dawson-Boyd at last year's Section. He also stated that when Jade Has- slen and James Nitz started to pick up their games that this would be a fun year. Bryn says that his short game is one of his strengths and that he needs to im- prove on his driving accuracy. Bryn's game really improved throughout the seasonand stated that j-t6' ing the courses and playing smarter was a big reason for the improvement. Stock will attend Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD this fall major- ing in Professional Accounting. Bryn will also be a member of the Wolves golf team. HASSLEN CONSTRUCTION Jesse Roscoe The son of Tom and Darcy Roscoe, he has one brother, Ramsey and one sister, Rikki. This is Jesse's fifth year on the varsity golf team and his third state tournament ap- pearance. Jesse finished seventh in last year's state tournament and tied for second this year, shooting a 73. Jesse's best round of his career was a 66 on the Ortonville Golf Course and in tour- nament play his best round was a 72 in the Sub-Section in Marshall this year. One of the memories Roscoe will take with him from his career at OHS is Coach 1 ;er Sandberg's coaching style. "Coach let's you do your thing," said Roscoe. "He makes your swing work for you. He doesn't bother you, and is there to help you work on your game. He knows how to coach and is one of the best in the state." Jesse stated that chipping is the strongest part of his game and that he needs to work more on his putting. He stated that the Pebble Creek Course in Becker is one of his fa- vorite courses as the greens are lightning fast and it is a good course for a state touma- iment.
