Eleanor Munson retired after working for 27 years as night operator in the Ortonville Telephone office. The State Couples Golf Tournament will be held in Ortonville July 29 and 30. Hagie has resigned as superintendent of the Ortonville School to accept a position at the Gilbert School J. Schechter and R.C. Kaercher have filed this week for the offices on the Ortonville School board. Terms of O.O. Ross and H.L. McDowell expire Esther Steffen and Marvin Witte were united in marriage June 28 at the home of the bride's mother The Fletcher Variet Store and fixtures has moved to the building formerly occupied by the Grand Theater and later the laundry. J.A. Peterson has leased the building formerly occupied by the Fletcher firm and will open a new Variety Store.
