Thoughts for life On December 15, 1995 the MN State Supreme Court ruled in the Doe v. Gomez case that women have a constitutional right to abortions, even abortions performed up to the moment of birth. The ruling, which exceeds Roe v. Wade, also declared abortions for low-income women to be a protected "right" for which taxpayers must pay. Even if Roe v. Wade was over- turned MN would have abortion with this Doe v. Gomez. It's allowed for reasons such as "stress", "discomfort" and "iron-deficiency". Either the pro-life people were not informed when this was happening or evil is stronger in Minnesota than other states.
