We will continue selling the books we had left at the library through August. Stop in and see if we have something you would be interested in. All proceeds go to the Friends of the Library group. The summer reading program has ended for another year and was successful. We had over 40 children registered. They all enjoyed the programs and the prizes earned by reading books. It is a known fact that children who read as few as six books during non-school months gained or maintained their reading skills achieved during the preceding school year.
