The RNs will work 12-hour shifts including a weekend and holiday rotation. Regular part-time position will qualify for our full benefits package. The RN assumes accountability for the delivery of direct and indirect patient-centered nursing care for the patients assigned to the RN for a specified period of time. The RN must understand and use the nursing process. Must be able to critically think and be self-directed to manage patient care. Must be able to collaborate and negotiate with team members. Must be able to communicate effectively to healthcare providers, families and patients and other involved providers, i.e. law enforcement, EMS and other healthcare workers. Must have strong customer service skills and be adept with communication to collaborate with patients/families/visitors and other departments/facilities. The RN functions within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and Hospital Policies and Procedures. This RN will support OB and Medical/Surgical.
