What you will win is to sit upon a float during the Homecoming game against the RTR Knights. You will be sitting in a recliner and you will also get to choose one friend to accompany you. You will also receive free pop and popcorn during the game, which an FCCLA member will get for you so you will not have to stand in the line at the concessions and wait. They will be drawing the winner before the game starts on Oct. 10th and you must be present to win. The raffle tickets are going for $1 a piece or you can buy four and get one free. Tickets are being sold by FCCLA members and before the homecoming game. You must contact Mrs. Duffield at the school. Century farm at Henkelmans A Century Farm Reunion will be held at the Donald and Kathy Henkleman's on Sunday, Sept. 28th. A potluck picnic at 12:30 p.m. Jim Gesswein offerl... ACCEPTING A DONATION from the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Ortonville Fire Chief Ron Athey is pictured above. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service donated a $15,000 grant to the Ortonville Fire Department to be used toward the purchase of a wildland firefighting vehicle. Athey is pictured with D.J. Rieger from U.S. Fish and Wildlife. The Ortonville Fire Department extends a thank you to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for their assistance with the grant.
