She is currently the Regional Trainer for Jenny Craig Weight Management Centers serving the Washington DC area. CX:X/.JGE 1-800-657-3247 Obituaries Robert james Riley Funeral services or Robert James Riley of Morris was held Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002 at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Father Alan Wielinski and Deacon Stan H e n n e n officiated. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Morris. Robert James Riley, son of Thomas William and Elizabeth Mary (Kopel) Riley, was born May 26, 1937 in Morris, where he was confirmed June 14, 1951 at Assumption Catholic Church. He received his schooling at School District #70 in Stevens County and continued his education at the West Central School of Agriculture in Morris, where he graduated in 1955. Robert enlisted in the National Guard on May 4, 1959, and received an honorable discharge on May 3, 1965. He was united in marriage to Barbara Rae Benson on July 8, 1961. On Oct. 8, 1978, he was united m marriage to-Judith Kay Tare in Plymouth by Reverend Stanley Hanks. Robert was employed by DX Service Station, Chandler Wilbert Vault Company, and in 1978 to the time of his death he worked with Jim Riley and Sons Construction in Morris. Gerald Gloege Gerald Arvid Gloege was born Sept. 1. 1927 in Lac qui Parle County, to parents Erwin and Lydia Gioege. He was baptized and confirmed at the Yeltowbank Evangelical Church, rural Odessa. Gerald attended Public School at Odessa graduating with the class of 1945. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army and became a member of the 82nd Air Borne Division as a paratrooper. After his honorable discharge from the army he was employed at the Farmers Elevator in Odessa. On April 19, 1952, Gerald was united in marriage to Bernice Amberg at St. John's Rectory in Ortonville. They made their home at Rosholt, SD where Gerald was manager at the Farmers Elevator for many years. He was a member of the Rosholt Volunteer Fire Dept. and Director for Sully Bides Telephone Coop, Highmore, SD. Upon his retirement, they made their summer home by the Missouri river at Glenham, SD and their winter home at Castle Rock, CO. Gerald was a Director for the New Evarts Resort at Glenham. Earl Weinman Funeral services for Earl Weinman, 84, of Clinton, were held Sunday, Oct 20 at the Moberg-Larson Funeral Home in Clinton. Officiating was Rev. Eugene Andrus. Honorary pallbearers were the residents and staff at the Clinton Providence Center. Active pallbearers were Todd, Terry and Gary Dybdahl, Stuart Steen, Terry Gillespie and John Mathison. Interment was at the Clinton City Cemetery. Earl George Weinman was born Nov. 14, 1917 at Malta Township, Big Stone County, to parents George and Elizabeth (Kohl) Weinman. He attended country school at District#10 at Malta Township. He was a lifelong Malta Township farmer. Robert was a member of the Morris American Legion. He enjoyed winter spear fishing, gardening, old country western music, working, the Minnesota Twins and especially spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends. Robert died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002 at the SCMC Courage Cottage in Morris, having lived to reach the age of 65 years. He is survived by his wife, Judy Riley of Morris; four children: Julie (Tom) Tritz of Dumont, Carrie Riley of Morris, Timothy (Debra) Riley of Cheyenne, WY and Shawn Riley of Clear Lake, SD; six grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters: Leo (Rita) Riley of Morris, Jeanne (Gene) Schneider of Cyrus, Jim (Kathy) Riley of Starbuck, Bill (Mary) Riley of Warner Robins, GA, Elaine White of Prior Lake, Joe (Pam) Riley of Morris, John Riley of Morris and Mary (Cal) Van Horn of Morris; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Active pallbearers for the service were Leo Riley, Jim Riley, Bill Riley, Joe Riley, John Riley, Denny Neisius and Bruce Tate. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Robert's grandchildren: Michael Riley, Robert Riley, Donna Riley, Melissa Stahn, Branden Schultz and Morgan Niemann. Deb Mahoney was pianist for the service with Kyle Riley serving as soloist and song leader. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris was in charge of the arrangements. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting bowling, and especially being with his children and grandchildren. Gerald passed away Monday, Oct. 14, 2002 at Bismarck Medical Center, Bismarck, ND reaching the age of 75 years, one month and 13 days. Preceding him in death were his parents and an infant brother. Survivors include his wife, Bernice of Glenham, SD; one son, Jeff of Rye, CO; one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Kim Frankl of Parker, CO; four grandchildren, Jamie and Taylor Gloege, Abby and Kelsey Frankl; one sister, Elaine Nawrocki of Odessa; one brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Ruth Ann Gloege of Ortonville; on nephew; one niece; five great nieces and nephews. Johnson Funeral Home of Rosholt, SD was in charge of the arrangements. Memorial services were held Friday, Oct. 18, 2002 at St.John's Catholic Church in Ortonville. hvferment was at Mound Cemetery, Ortonville. Fr. Robert Goblirsch officiated and music was provided by Pat Kunz, organist and the St. John's Choir. Earl entered the Clinton Providence on Oct. 9, 2002. Jasmine the Clinton Providence Center dog adopted Earl and lived in his room. Earl enjoyed collecting can tops for the school and Ronaid McDonald House. In the past he also enjoyed collecting tools and tinkering in his shop, hunting pheasants, playing cards at the men's club and rides in the country looking at crops. Earl passed away Thursday afternoon, Oct 17, 2002 at Clinton reaching the age of 84 years, 11 months and 3 days. Survivors include one sister Martha Hagen of Yuma, AZ; one sister-in-law Mary Weinman of Elk River; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
