Thoughts for life The MCCL News publication is full of praise for the work pro-life people did in the last election. More than 8.5 percent of Coleman's supporters voted for him based on his pro-life position. I thought "well, of course." But the word that he is pro- life had to get out and they believe it was the grass roots people working. He did not win in our county but he got lots of votes and those votes combined with all the rest in the state to give him, Pawlenty and Kiffmeyer the win. And I saw the few workers we had who put up signs, passed out literature and worked and worked and worked. God bless them. They inspire me, I only walked one block and pounded in a few signs so it isn't that they got me do do a lot of work but I felt inspired to pay attention to people running for office and give them some money. Ant that last month I prayed every day. Not all the pro-life people won and next time around I will work harder. "... Think About These Things" by Rev. Wilfred C. Hansen PASTOR AT LARGE "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the the morning stars sang together and all of the sons of God for joy?" Job 38:4 and 5. "And they sang a new song, 'Worthy is the Lamb who to receive the power and wealth and wisdom and might and and glow and blessing.' " Rev. 5:9 and 12 Christmas reminds us of the importance of music. The make and to appreciate music is one of God's unique and gifts to His children. In fact, God has given music a central our lives. I can't imagine Christmas without music. No other form sion can compare in conveying the mystew, the warmth, the anticipation, the joy and gaiety of Christmas. music performed by professionals is always appreciated. music performed by high school students,a volunteer choir, tie children, has a special quality which never fails to take us very heart of Christmas. Our home always seems filled with music. As I work at my our basement l hear Phyliss at the piano. Next, our house with music from a favorite Christmas album. After school dren come for their lessons, most on the piano and several violin. My soul is continuously nourished by music! Reflect on the following thought by Dr. Paul Lehman, Michigan: "Music exalts the human spirit. It transforms the experience. It provides each individual with an unparalleled enjoyment he or she can use throughout life." "Music is God's cool gray rain on parched and thirst'9 souls."
