UTILITY COMMITTEE Ellingson moved and Reinke seconded and the motion passed unanimously to approve the Utility Committee minutes of Oct. 5, and Nov. 2, 1998 as presented. UNFINISHED BUSINESS The donation requested by the Women's Advocacy Resource Center was discussed. Ellingson moved and Reinke seconded that the following resolution be adopted: RESOLUTION 98-134 DONATION TO WOMEN'S ADVOCACY RESOURCE CENTER BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ortonville, Minnesota that a donation for the purchase of a TV, VCR, and rolling cart be and is hereby approved in an amount not to exceed $450 and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds for said donation be from the Council's discretionary fund. Upon roll call vote the following voted aye: Oakes, Gustafson, Hynnek, Reinke, Dorry, Ellingson and the following voted nay: none. Resolution 98-134 passed this 16th dal of November, 1998. he Council next discussed the Missoun River Energy Services contract proposal for repair services. Gustafson moved and Hynnek seconded and the motion passed unanimously to enter into a two year contract for labor and - repair services with Missouri River Energy Services and that the Mayor and City Clerk-Administrator be authodzed to execute said contract. NE-W BUSINESS The Council reviewed the pay request by Quam Construction for the street project. Oakes moved and Ellingson seconded that the following resolution be adopted: RESOLUTION 98-135 APPROVING STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT REQUEST #4 BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ortonvifle that pay request #4 for the Street Improvement Project in the amount of $222,888.35 be and is hereby approved. Upon roll call vote the following voted aye: Oakes, Gustafson, Hynnek, Reinke, Dorry, Ellingson and the following voted nay: none. Resolution 98-135 passed this 16th day of November, 1998. Next item on the agenda was discussion on special assessments on the street project. Next the Council discussed utility levies for customers with past due utility bills. Reinke moved and Hynnek seconded and the motion passed unanimously to levy certain past due utility bills to the home owners' property taxes. The next item discussed was the Airport Commission which has not met since the Council appointed two new members last month. It was the consensus of the Council that the Commission needed a chairman appointed to get theprocess going. Ellingson moved and Oakss seconded and the motion passed unanimously to appoint Dallas Hanson chairman ot. Airport Commission.
