Henry Needham was born 1928 to Robert Patrick and Christine (Ritter) Needham Stevens Co. attended school at Morris, and Herman. The bride is a graduate of Dakota State University and is employed by Norwest. The groom is employed by Holcomb Freightliner. Parents of the couple are Ran and Carol Scheff of Big Stone City, SD and Joe and Sharon McGuire of Jefferson. marriage to Helen Made Hruby in the Graceville Catholic Church. A carpenter by trade, Bob worked construction crews with Ed Disselcamp and Hank Ritter, starting his own construction company in later years. Mr. Needham passed away Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 16, 1998, reaching the age of 70 years, eight months and seven days. He will be remembered for his quiet nature. He loved to tease, and took special joy in nicknaming his grandchildren, who wdre frequent visitors at the house. Bob was a hard worker and a true craftsman, building or fixing houses and buildings from Wheaton to Ortonville, from Browns Valley to Alberta. He played third base for the town softball team, bowled mixed doubles, and scooped a lot of snow during the winters for individuals. Bob enjoyed supper with friends, attending his grandchildren's school activities such as programs and sporting events, and shaking dice for coffee and quarters at the CC Cafe. Survivors include two daughters, Pamela (Rick) Stueve of Dumont, and Barbara (Russ) Breeggemann of Jordan; two sons, Patrick (Mary) Needham of Graceville and Robert (Susan) Needbam of Graceville; one half-sister, Cheryn (Jim) Reeves of Lake Charles, LA; one half-brother, Jim (Ginny) Hennessy of Chisago City; 12 grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Danielle, Marcus, Shantelle Jonathan, Amanda, Amber, Ashley, Kellie, Kody and Hannah; two aunts, Catherine Chalupnik of Graceville, and Florence Kolling of Red Wing; an uncle, James E. Ritter of Snowflake, AZ; and a brother-in-law, Milo Zahnow of Berkeley Springs, WV. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife, a daughter, Deborah and sister, Eleanor "Tooty" Zahnow. Arrangements were by Larson Funeral Home of Graceville.
